How the Western world turns Muslims into radicals

Mainstream media corporations like Fox News would like you to believe that Muslims are all violent & radical in their observance of Islam. This is not true. However, Muslims do have the right to defend themselves & their families from aggression, just like everybody else. But why do some Muslims lose their sight of the boundaries of self-defense, become radical and very rarely commit violent acts? This article will discuss the history of the Western world in the middle east, and how the West has turned Muslims into radicals using oppression & misinformation together.

The first major encounter that the Muslim world had with the West was in World War 1. After the Nazi’s were defeated, their Ottoman allies needed to be divided up.

Ottoman Empire Pre-WW1

At this point Ottoman empire spanned to Austria in the west, & to Iraq in the east. They were also controlling Palestine & most of North Africa. The allied powers had been planning the partition ever since the Ottomans entered an alliance with the Germans. This is where the modern middle-eastern borders come from. Essentially, an association with racists cost the Ottoman empire everything. The only thing that the Ottomans really kept was Istanbul (still important) and surrounding regions like Anatolia.

Ottoman Empire Post-WW1

The US & Britain began another coordinated operation to implement regime change in the Middle East in 1958. The US sent roughly 15000 marines and army troops onto the coast of Lebanon, whose leader was a Christian. Britain sent paratroopers to Jordan simultaneously.

Egyptian leader Gamal Abdel Nasser was the problem, and the West was ready to get rid of him. The reason they were so keen on deposing Nasser was that he had just joined Egypt with Syria, creating the United Arab Republic. Islam was set to spread like a wildfire throughout Christian areas of the Middle East, and this made Western countries too uncomfortable. The Christian leader of Lebanon was facing rebellion from the Muslims of the region, and the West wanted to keep the Christian in power.

In Iraq, which was a major ally for ‘America’ at the time, there was a sudden ‘coup’. The Iraqi army suddenly decided to overthrow & execute King Faisal & his crown prince, which were the main allies that ‘America’ had in Iraq. The orchestrates of the coup were unknown, but they pledged support for Nasser.

At this point the West totally panicked, beginning the war between America & Islam. Eisenhower, then president of ‘America’, ordered the troops stationed in Lebanon to assault the beach of Beirut to save the Christian government, and Britain to reinforce King Hussein’s government in Jordan. The West had even ordered nuclear weapons prepared by Germans, for deployment to the beach of Lebanon. This desperate overreaction shows the level of Western fear of Islamic influence in society.

However, the American ambassador to Lebanon disobeyed his instructions & instead brokered a deal with the Lebanese army to safely escort the marines out of Muslim Lebanon. Eisenhower then made the seemingly decent decision of removing the Christian leader & replacing him with the Lebanese army commander. This is a historic moment for the Muslim world, because its probably the only time that the US has ever cleaned up its mess.

Sadly, the US did not learn from Eisenhowers mistake, nor did they learn from his quick acceptance of reality that allowed him to defuse the issue. Since 1958, the US has continued to destabilize territories in the Middle East in the most brutal ways possible; destroying Muslim families & traumatizing Muslim children.

Although the first time America stepped into the Middle East was in WW1, they began their real campaign against Muslims in Iraq, when Saddam Hussein came into power in 1979. Post-WW1, the governing power of Iraq had been given by Britain to the Sunni Muslims, despite the fact that the region was Shia by majority.

Saddam Hussein was arguably Sunni at best. Some might say he was arguably Muslim, or not Muslim at all. However, he rose to the power some way or another. He made many mistakes and we won’t cover all of them in this article. However, just because he is a terrible leader & a fake Muslim doesn’t mean that the ‘US’ had the right to totally destroy the region. Although Saddam was a socialist & a totally incompetent leader, most people in Iraq were scared to death of him. They were only held accountable because George Bush & his ‘America’ had told American citizens that Saddam had “weapons of mass destruction”.

George Bush’s racism & irrational fear of Islam totally devastated Iraq. It wasn’t just a mission to hold criminals like Saddam Hussein responsible; it was a mission to punish the Muslims (or Iraq) in the most brutal way. The whole international community denounced the US accusations, knowing what Bush had planned. There were protests around the world, and the protesters were right. The ‘American’ occupation of Iraq was a total disaster; chemicals weapons like ‘agent-orange’, rape, murder, all types of crime committed by ‘Americans’.

This was only the first major US incursion into the middle east. The next one would be the US mission to get rid of the Taliban. We all know how that turned out. Many people also know that the US destabilized Libya also. Britain killed Mughal India & turned it Hindu, and France has killed more than 20 African presidents.

The physical & chemical atrocities committed by the Western world using tax-dollars aren’t the only ones committed during these wars. During the course of the wars, while innocent Muslims are being killed, raped & tortured, there is utter silence from Western media. This utter silence and omission of necessary information has many effects on the public, but mainly it makes people dumb. Many people trust their chosen source of news & fail to check information before they share it. Both the media & the gullible people of society are both responsible for lying. However, the government media has an important obligation to be impartial & include all context & information about a story, & should be held accountable accordingly. After all, news does not mean ‘opinion’. It means both sides of a story.

When ‘America’ hides their war-crimes to the point that American citizens don’t even believe they happen, the victims of these crimes lose faith in humanity. Mothers & fathers’ children were killed by American forces, women were raped by American forces, sometimes children were even orphaned or left alone when American forces killed their whole family. Imagine these orphans quality of life as they grow older. They will never forget how America stole their family from them.

All of the victims of American intervention in the middle-east are watching as western media hides all contextual information about their struggle, often portraying aggressors as engaging in ‘self-defense’.

The fear of Muslims does not come from Muslims being violent. It comes from Western fears of losing votes & control to Muslims (both domestically & internationally). The West attacks innocent Muslims consistently, lying or leaving out contextual information. When Muslims are finally ready to defend themself from these state-sponsored crimes, they are called terrorists.

As Russia invades Ukraine today, the US has made the most hypocritical decisions it possibly could’ve, by calling for peace. The US brutalizes Muslim people consistently, funding war crime in Palestine since at least 1949. How would you feel if you had seen your land invaded & people brutalized for the last 75 years? Probably not good, if you’re still alive somehow. If the entire world chose to ignore your struggle for 75 years, crying for Ukraine at the first sign of their distress, you would probably be sick. This is the case of Palestine.

The truth is that it’s not Islam that radicalizes the youth. It’s the racism, corruption & hypocrisy of Western authorities. The west should be more balanced in it’s approach to using stolen land to support human rights. If you’re going to support Ukrainian people who are being brutalized, you should also support everyone else being brutalized. Otherwise you are a racist.
