The ‘thin blue line’ symbol is an elusive way of police saying ‘if you cross the blue line, we will have no mercy’. While some people are familiar with the symbol & the meaning, many others have no clue what it means. Hence this article.
The symbol you see above represents the biggest gang in the world; a militarized terror-group with state funding. The US police. US law enforcement are well-known to target minorities. However, people usually don’t know that there is a symbol commonly glorified among terrorist police officers; the thin blue line.
It’s not very difficult to decipher what the symbol stands for, once you learn to recognize it. You see them mixed up with racists holding confederate flags, nazi flags, etc. You also see the symbol accompanied by symbols of rifles, skulls, etc.
Some people might say that there is nothing wrong with supporting law enforcement. This is a very shortsighted approach that is void of all empathy for victims of a system that is far from perfect, to say the least. Law enforcement can either help or hurt the communities they are paid by us to serve. They can either treat their constituents equally, or target a group of their choosing. They can either show mercy for small violations that don’t harm people or society, or they can be ruthless.
If the police helped people instead of making their lives difficult, the city would be richer. The problem is, police have no consciousness of right/wrong. Similar to those who blindly support all legislation & law enforcement, police also take state & local regulations as their religion. The more power you have in life, the more temptations you deal with. Police are not superior to the rest of the people; they have the same desires & instincts. The only difference is that they enjoy full gun privileges when enforcing rule of law. Other citizens have stringent limitations on their right to bear arms.
In California, citizens can only purchase certain eligible pistols & rifles. Also, they need a concealed carry permit (CCW) to carry a pistol for self-defense. These CCW applications cost $300, and the sheriff can deny anyone at their discretion. That is extortion.
In a world where police have totally outdone ordinary people in terms of arms rights, the police need to be held to a standard of decency by their own higher-ups. Moreover, they should earn some type of credentials from the people they are supposed to serve (before serving).
If police proudly wear symbols of hate & gang culture, how peaceful can you expect that community to be? Society needs to either strip the police of their guns, give guns back to the people, or hold police to a much, much higher standard.
