Ft. Bragg PD: Endangering Citizens by Releasing Aggressive Drunk Men

On the afternoon of October 28 2023, Officer Baker of Fort Bragg CA police department was dispatched to East Redwood Street in Fort Bragg. The reporting party stated that there was an aggressive man who had pushed some other man against the wall. Shortly after another call came in stating that he was threatening passersby.

Officers Baker & Frank both responded & shortly after informed dispatch that they were out with a suspect Darren Lee Hammond. They were positive that Darren Lee Hammond was responsible.

Upon investigation, it was established that Darren Lee Hammond was on probation with Mendocino Sherriff. His behavior was a clear & outstanding violation of his probation. Darren could have & should have been arrested.

However, instead of arresting Darren for violation of probation as well as public intoxication & possibly assault, Officer Baker simply informed dispatch that Darren was heavily HBD (had been drinking) and was warned that further aggressive behavior would result in his arrest.

Then, a few hours later, Officer Baker was dispatched to 327 S. Franklin Street for a homeless lady trespassing on someones front porch. He declared the subject UTL (unable to locate) GOA (gone on arrival) before even responding to the correct location. I took a video of the trespasser & i was lucky enough to catch officer Baker giving up on his investigation as i was staring at the trespasser. You can see the video here. I called the dispatcher to inform her that officer Baker had gone to the wrong address, as I was familiar with the address & the trespasser & was still staring right at her after taking a video

Luckily, Officer Baker received another call regarding a female who was being attacked by a man & was able to abandon his call for service regarding the trespasser. However, the man attacking this woman was the same man Baker had earlier released on a warning despite him being on probation.

You can see here the aggressive drunk man along with his 2 most recent victims. You can also see how soft & gentle they are with this aggressive drunk racist. The drunk man is so confident he warns responding officers that he is going to tell Captain O’Neal about the way he is being treated. Check it out:

Darren Lee Hammond & his assault victims.

Why did Officers Baker & Frank release this drunk man after he had exhibited such violent & aggressive behavior earlier. Does Officer Baker think alcohol is an excuse for aggressive & violent behavior? Baker states in the middle of the video that the man made threats toward Law Enforcement earlier. At the end of the video he begins a secret conversation with the victims and I ask him why he didn’t arrest Darren earlier. I was told that he wasn’t making threats earlier even though he clearly was.

Roughly a week ago Baker had warned an aggressive drunk man of trespass from Angelina’s bar & he came back 15 minutes later to harass everyone, specifically the lady who trespassed him. He was also clearly guilty of public intoxication, yet Baker let him off with a warning & put the safety of everyone in Tradewind’s in jeopardy due to his irrational mercy for aggressive drunk men.

This time Bakers victim wasn’t as lucky as the lady at Tradewinds. Captain O’Neal & Sgt. Ferris were not able to save him.

The main victim of the assault, blood can be seen on his face.

Does Fort Bragg Police Department understand that it’s not safe to allow aggressive drunk men to walk the streets? Why do they frequently allow drunks to run around threatening & attacking people? Don’t they realize that families aren’t safe sharing the city with these people?

Officer Baker clearly has a soft spot for aggressive drunk men. Fort Bragg Police Department clearly has tolerated Officers like Baker for too long. We call for Officer Baker to resign immediately along with any LEOs above or beside him who share his dangerous affinity for aggressive drunk men. #ShariaFinancial

Officer Baker after hearing me inform future viewers that he was having a secret conversation.
